Panasonic's WhisperGreen models uses a SmartFlow�?Optimum CFM Technology, which gives a constant CFM performance even if the static pressure changes. A high/low delay timer, that can go up to 60 minutes, lets you set the speed and then return the fan to the minimum CFM level. The WhisperGreen series' enclosed DC motor is extremely quitet while in operation. Moreover, the motor is permanently lubricated so it will run trouble-free for several years. Installation of the fan is very user-friendly. Also, Panasonic ventilation fans has a built-in damper that prevents outside air from coming through the fan. These fans won't create excessive heat, thanks to Panasonic's cool running motors. Insulation can be added directly over the fan housing can prevent heat from escaping your home. This model is the newer version of the model FV05VKS2.

Low Profile Ceiling Mounted Ventilation Fan Light
A revolutionary series of vent fans that combine energy efficiency, ultra-quiet operation and a collection of advanced technologies that deliver unparalleled performance. An extremely energy efficient DC motor powers the patented TechnoFlow�?system. Noise is reduced to levels that were previously thought to be unattainable. Constant CFM Performance
This WhisperGreen® model features built-in intelligence called SmartFlow�?Optimum CFM Technology. This unique "electronic-brain" lets the fan do what was once thought to be impossible: perform at a constant CFM regardless of elbows and other factors that might hinder performance. Basically, when a WhisperGreen® fan faces static pressure, its speed is automatically increased to ensure that the desired CFM is actually achieved. This allows the fan to perform as rated and makes for easier sizing because the specifiers no longer has to worry as much about compromising the fan's performance.
Variable Speed Control
This fan is equipped with a CustomVent�?Variable Speed Control. This allows the fan to run continuously at a pre-set lower level of 0, 30-70 CFM that can then be elevated to a maximum of 80 CFM when the switch is turned on. A High/Low delay timer (adjustable up to 60 minutes), will then return the fan to the minimum CFM level after a period of time set by the user.

This model also features a double-hanger bar system for ideal positioning.

This Panasonic fan has a built-in damper to prevent backdraft, which helps to prevent outside air from coming through the fan. Also, thanks to our efficient, cool running motors, it does not create excessive heat. Loose fill or batt insulation can be placed directly over the fan housing to prevent heat from escaping.
